Goldeneye is one of the worse movie I've ever seen. Pierce Brosnan was terrible. There was too much of bad guys in the movie and not enough Bond. When he was on screen he was flat and boring.

Stepbrothers

Stepbrothers was an ok movie. Not a big fan John C. Riley. I think concept of two gown men living at home, could be funny. But this movie tried to hard to be funny. Always great to see Seth Rogen even for a minute.

Role Models

I completely loved Role Models. I adore Paul Rudd he so talented and its great to see him having sucess. He and Sean William Scott were very funny. But was the kids that made the movie they were great. I think the key to movie was a good pace and balance. There was a good story to keep you interested a great jokes in the right places.

Quantum of Solace

Quantum of Solace is a good movie. This is definatley a darker Bond which I enjoyed. The pace of the movie was good it keeps you interested. The Bond girl was good as well. she had a real purpose.

Daniel Craig is the best Bond since Connery. Sleek and cool and bad at the right times.

Mallrats

For the longest time I resisted Mallrats, every time I would see bits of it on TV and looked stupid. Well it is stupid. Stupid in a good Kevin Smith kind of way. Only Smith could make the story of two slackers who get dumped and go to the mall a good movie. Just like all Kevin Smith creations you know you should hate them, but you just can't help but see their greatness.

Four Christmases

Four Christmases was OK. A very simple plot of couple that does everything they can to avoid the holidays with family. After seeing the famulies you understand why.

I really like Vaughn and Reese Whitherspoon, but I didn't think they were that funny. I don't think it was a lack chemisity. They just didn't work for me in the movie.

This was just a watching Christmas about a family returning to their childhood home for the holiday. Acting was ok, plot was predictable. But still pretty enjoyable.

The Prestige

This movie was really good. The Prestige is about two magician who work in an act together and a trick goes wrong and it changes their lives forever. The events that unfold as they goes their seperate ways are captivating. This movies keeps you watching until the last second.

Get Smart

I remember seeing an early trailer for Get Smart and really wanting to see it. I've become a big Steve Carell fan. So when the DVD finally came out I was ready. What a huge disapointment. It just wasn't funny. I knew the parts where I should have laughed but nothing. Anne Hathaway just bugged me she and Carell had no chemisrty.

Kung Fu Panda

Kung Fu Panda is a great movie. The story was awesome. The animation top-notch. Jack Black is really suited for voice-over work. I was puzzled by one thing though, how can a duck be a panda's father? But still that was great too.

Mad Money

Mad Money was good. Bridgette who is used the good life gets a job cleaning toliets at The Federal Reserve. She enlists two co-work help in stealing the money that would be destroyed anyway. A fun movie, great to them getting a way with it for awhile.

Samatha Who?-The First Complete Season

I love this show. Christina Applegate is so adorable. Her character loses her memory after being hit by a car. She finds that before the accident she was not a nice person. The cast is great including the always wonderful Jean Smart who plays Sam's mother.

Big Bang Theory-The Complete First Season

Big Bang Theory is great comedy. The cast has great timing. Sheldon's charcter is one the funniest I've seen. And its great to see some Roseanne alums back on TV. A show worth anyone's time.

What Happens in Vegas

What Happens in Vegas is a fun movie. I really liked Cameron Diaz. It had some funny stuff but the last 15 minutes were great. The stupid moments are worth the end.

This Bond adventure is good. Not the most entertaining Bond Girl, but lots of action. The final monents on the cruise ship are awesome.

Then She Found Me

Then She Found Me is a great story. Helen Hunt directs this movie as well as stars in it. She is amazing. Hunt's character April has her husband leave her, her adoptive mother die and finds out her birth mom wants to find her all in less then 48 hours. As she deals with all things she meets a man she falls for.

You are so drawn by these characters you feel their every emotion. A wonderful movie.

Charlie Wilson's War

Charlie's War is a great story, but the movie was a bit slow. Always have loved Tom Hanks and he was good. Julia Roberts was not her best, but I really think it was more the writing not the acting. Worth seeing if you need a movie.

Shakespere in Love

I adored this movie. The cast was amazing. Joseph Finnes was excellent and Geweth great as always. The thing that surpised me most about was its pace. I thought a movie about Shakepere would slow, but it was perfect.

40-Year-Old Virgin

I resisted this movie for a long time because I thought it would just be crude jokes. And yes it was, but was also funny and warm. I think the great think about these type of movies that characters are likable. Steve Carell's character was just average guy, you could relate to him. A great movie that I regret waiting so long to see.

This was good but very long. Moore is not my favorite Bond, but he was quite good and Maude Adams was excellent. Could have used a faster pace but a good movie.

I was suprised to learn Jason Segel wrote this movie. Big talent. A great movie and a great location. I always love seeing Paul Rudd.

Bladerunner

I wasn't sure how I would like this movie. I had heard so much about over the years but never had much interest it seeing it. There were many times where I was not enjoying it and did want stop it. But I couldn't do it. It did pull me in despite not enjoying it that much. That is good filmmaking.

Made of Honor

I don't usually like Patrick Dempsey, but in Made of Honor I did. The plot was predictable but so watchable. I enjoyed it and it was great to see Busy Phillips as a bridesmaid.

Key Largo

A Bogey and Becall movie as always great everything betwen them. But I thought Edward G. Robinson was the best. He plays a gangster who take over a hotel during a hurricane. Key Largo is a little slow but it makes up for it with great acting.

The second season of Ugly Betty was not quite as good as the first. I don't know if it was strike related or not. Toward the end it did pick though. So if you are fan it is worth it.

I was having an eighties phease and had never seen Sixteen Candles. I really like Molly Ringwals so I thought I couldn't lose. Sadly though, I was wrong. The movie was slow and the characters got on my nerves.

The Final Chapter is here. Vaughn is missing and could be a double agent. Sydney is expecting and the mysteries are alive and well. This season was very well done and so worth the wait.

In fourth season of Alias much is revealed. Syndey uncovers secrets from ever part of her life. Are people really who they say they are? The cast is really superb especially Victor Garber.

The third season begins with Sydney discoving she has been missing for two years. Will is in Witness Protection, her dad is in jail and vaughn is married. The third season takes us a journey with Sydney to find what happend in those two years.

Exciting and always mysterious Alias is quality.

Sundays at Tiffanys is a truly great love story. The plot is totally new and fresh. There are characters you love and characters you love to hate.

A great book to snuggle up with.

Water for Elephants is very good book. This book gives a masterful look at cirus life. The characters are great and well developed. The story is very well crafted.

The Shack is well crafted book. After his daughter is kiddnapped, her father Mack must come to terms with his greive and God. He returns to shack where it all took place.

This books deals with so many things. I can't say I understood all the 'God' aspects, but this a great book that is worth everyone's time.

Harvey

Harvey is a great film. Jimmy Stewart is one of the few actors that can carry a movie where his best friend is a giant bunny. The movie proves thay you don't always need to see something to make it real. Harvey was real in Elwood's heart.

I didn't like this movie. The whole whose my mother plot was fine, but when it takes 45 minutes to establish its not the first girl which everyone knows anyway it is not worth it.

Wargames:The 25th Anniversary Edition

Wargames begins with two handing a missile launch. One man is unable to turn the key. This propmts NORAD to remove the human element from the process of lanuching missisles. David Lightman is an uninterested high school student with a home computer he uses to among others things, break into school computer to change his grades. While reading a magazine one day he see an ad for new computer games wanting to play them he tries to hack there system. David hacks a system which he thinks is a harmless computer game. The next day he learns his actions set the stage for a possible World War III.

I had not seen this movie for about 15 years. As it did then, David's computer impressed me. I still thought it was totally cool. The huge floppy disks the old school moderm. The way that David felt and reacted after he realized what he had done was very good. He didn't think he was cool. He was scared as anyone would be.

This a great movie. The story is very well paced and does a great job at showing how both David NORAD deal with situation.

MIT student Ben Camebell a top student is recuited by his college professor to join an underground Blackjack team. The four along with the professor travel to Vegas on weekend to count cards. Needing money for medical school Ben enventually joins. As he wins more and money his character changes.

My biggest problem with the movie was I couldn't relate to Ben. Right from the start I wanted him to be caught. You knew he would stop and they he liked the money and power. Even after he did get caught and lost it I felt he deserved it.

The movie did have a nice pace and did draw you in. I thought Ben's MIT friends were great and was glad to see them do well at the end.

It Happend One Night

Elle escapes her father to return to her husband whom her father disaproves. On the bus to New York Elle meets Peter. He agrees to help her get to New York in return for her story.

You know right from beginning these two are meant to fall in the love. But that where the story fall short me. There never a spark. Even when they are getting along you barley see any chemisty.

Not a bad movie, but it takes forever to makes its point.

The second season Alias was much stronger and tighter then the first. The stories were better and it moved at a good pace.

Book Review: The Last Summer (of you and me) By Ann Brashares

This book is very good. Two sister return to their summer beach house as adults. Where the older sister Riley is a life guard. Alice does a few jobs around the island. They are both joined by life long friend Paul. Romance begins and secrets are revealed.

The ending is predictable, in the this book the fun is getting there.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was a movie. Being in the company of the ones before it. I think I expected more. It was a solid story with a good cast. I however didn't for the alien aspect. Nothing aganist them but they didn't belong in the movie.
