The Queen

The Queen examines the death of Princess of Diana from the Queen eyes. What it was like the week leading up to the funeral.

In the beginning The Queen is formal and refuses to make statement on Diana's death. The people are very unhappy at this. The movie pulls no punches about the fact the family very disliked Diana. But that aside you begin to see that The Queen thought her way of doing things was the best way.

The movie was very well done. Halen Mirren earned her statue.

Casino Royale

I am not a Bond expert, but I thought Daniel Crieg was very good. The action was great and the movie kept you on the edge of your seat. Worth it.

The Pursuit of Happyness

Being a big Will Smith fan, I could not wait to see this movie. He didn't disappoint. I loved the movie. He went after his dreams. Yes he and his son faced hard times but they dealt with them. An amazing story with wonderful acting.

Music Review: The Fratellis-Costello Music

This CD is catchy and fun music for a first CD it is good. I think the music all sounds same a bit toward the end but its worth a listen for sure.

The Simpsons-The Complete Fifith Season

This is a such a great DVD set. Homer Goes to College, Lisa vs Malibu Stacy and the best one of all Cape Feare. Anything with Sideshow Bob is just greatness.

Its so much going back watching early Frasier. Like most shows the early stuff is the best. Such a great cast and well crafted writing.

Music Review: Shins-Wincing the Night Away

The Shins Wincing the Night Away is a great CD. The vocals flow like a river and the lyrics take you take to their own little world. If you enjoyed them on The Garden State Soundtrack you will love this CD.

A Good Year

I had not heard much if anything good about this movie, but I like Russell Crowe so I gave it a try. It was terrible. My thought was this why give Crowe an accent the one he has was perfectly fine.
