I watched the first few episodes today. I honestly did not see what all the fuss is about. All I saw was grusome, grusome, grusome. I'll stick to Veronica Mars and Friday Night Lights.

Pretty in Pink

Pretty in Pink is a classic movie. Molly Ringwald is so watchable and I think its a pity that she hasn't done more. The movie itself is just so simple and great. You like the charcaters and can feel what their going through.

Say Anything...

This is an awesome movie. It shows that loves takes many forms and that no one is perfect. John Cusack's character showed us that the best way to get what you want sometimes is just to ask.

Did anyone else notice all the Frasier conections: John Mahoney, Bebe Newuith, and the setting of Seattle?

Veronica Mars-The First Complete Season

I kept reading about this show on another blog and finally gave in. Its a pity it was canceled. It was great to see such a strong female character. A great detective show with a kick ass girl and a mystery that will keep you guessing.

Matt Damon at his action-star best. A man of few words is Jason Bourne. He is great his quick witt and fast moves make this movie great.

Music Review: Foo Fighters- Echoes, Silence, Patience And Grace

This CD is very good. If you are a Foo's fan its worth a listen. But one thing that disappoint is the Anti-Copying. If we buy the CD we should be able to burn it for a mp3 player.

Music Review:Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds Live at Radio City

Although a big Dave Mattews fan, I hadn't been overly impressed by his stuff of late. I felt he was trying to hard to be "the big rock star." With this new live CD I think he has gone back(at least for the moment) to what he does best which is just playing good music. He and Tim Reynolds just sound amazing.

Freedom Writers

Freedom Writers is a good movie albeit an old story. How many movie can be made about street kids who make good? I do enjoy Hilary Swank, but not Patrick Dempsy. Although he is TV's golden boy at the moment I find him flat and annoying.

Cosby Show-The Complete First Season

The Cosby Show when there were sitcom on TV. A classic show with one the best casts ever esembled. My only complaint of the DVD is that is not uncut.

Six Degreees of Seperation

You can easily see the greatest Will Smith will become in this movie. You can feel he is con the second he says a word but yet you want almost need to believe in him.

24-The Complete Fifith Season

Season five of 24 sees Jack return from the dead as he tries to uncover who is murdering his friends. A very good season overall the edition of Jean Smart is great. She shows such a variety of emotions.

Spider-Man 3

I had heard awful things about this movie. My affection for the first two made me still want to see it. While it was not quite as good as the first two I still enjoyed it for what it was. It shows that even superheroes have their flaws.

A must-have for the movie fan.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

I really enjoyed this movie. The effects and battles were wonderful. Neville's character is really coming into his own. The movies continue to grow darker.

I've accepted the fact that the movies are becoming much different from the books. In the fourth movie the differences bothered me but in this one it didn't matter as much. The movie stood on its own much better then the other.

The Simpsons Movie

The Simpsons Movie was superb. My fear of it feeling like one episode that was too long was quickly put to rest. The story was so well-crafted I wanted more. Any fan will be finding funny things they missed for ages. The DVD release will be major.
