Even though I still hate the title, the movie was good. The characters were very real and honest. It wasn't 'stupid' funny just funny and very heartfelt at times.

24-The Complete Sixith Season

Not the most impressive season, but still very good. The element of Jack's family was good but could have been better. The White House stuff was weak. But again a great bit of acting by Jean Smart and a superb final episode.

Frasier-The Complete Seventh Season

This is a big season for Frasier leading up Daphane wedding day to Donny. Until she learns of Niles' true feelings for her. Also a big highlight to me in this season Jean Smart playing Frasier's old high school dream-girl.

The Namesake

I really really liked this movie. This couple moves to American from India after they are married. Their son Gogol changes his name and drifts from his family as he grows older. But the sudden death of his father makes him realize how much he has missed.

A great story and a good look at Indian culture.

This movie is all about the music. If you like movie where people sing every fifteen minutes this is for you. The story was good though and the music very enjoyable.

I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry

I really heard bad things about this movie and will admit there are stupid moments. It was however better then I expected. Its a movie of friendship and being there when the chips are down. Worth a watch.

The Telented Mr. Ripley

I was blown away by Matt Damon's proformance. The great thing about the was the tension. The was so much of it between the characters and within themselves as well. It made the movie so unpredictable. That's a rare quality in a movie these days.

This movie was OK. I love Will Smith, but I liked Tommy Lee Jones more in Men in Black. The story was a little weak and it was boring in places.

This is a great CD. The 80's for me were all about Bruce Springsteen. This CD is backed up by The E Street Band which makes it total greatness. The vocals are so wonderful.

Veronica Mars:The Complete Third Season

A great season with two big mysteries. A great show and biggest mystery of all. Why did it get cancelled? In a pitch for season 4, Veronica joins the FBI oh the potential. Great show. I will miss it.

Waitress is a great movie. It shows that is human to doubt. To doubt ourselves to doubt life. But in the end love and friendship and belief in ourselves will out. Great cast, great writing.

Home Alone 2:Lost in New York

This one pales in comparsion to the first, but I did enjoy it a lot. Much like the first, what kid would not enjoy having that kind of freedom. It did get a bit stupid with the robbers again. But still good.

The first time I saw this movie I knew it wasn't a classic and it could not ever hold a candle to animated one. Still it was a few laughs. Jim Carrey deserves a lot credit just wearing the custume and makeup for 3 months.

Its hard to believe a creature so mean and nasty could be such a welcome sight during the holiday season. But if there is anyone we all love to hate its the Grinch. The animation and voice over are wonderful. A true classic.

Miracle on 34th Street(1994)

This remake of the 1947 classic is good but does not come close to the greatness of the first. The cast is ok, but the don't live to the original.

Christmas with The Simpsons

A DVD with five holiday Simpsons episodes:

Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire: The pilot and true classic. Homer goes to the dog track to raise money for the family Christmas and brings home a dog for everyone Santa's Little Helper.

Mr. Plow-Homer starts a snow plow business, only to be outdone by "The Plow King" Barney. Not sure why this is included on a Christmas DVD, but it is good.

Miracle On Evergreen Terrace-Bart burns the tree along with all the gifts. Then tells everyone the family was robbed. The town rallies around them until the lie is discovered.

Grift of the Magi-Fat Tony extorts money from Skinner and the school goes broke. KLF steps into to save the school and at Christmas Bart and Lisa its a fraud.

She of Little Faith-Homer and Bart build a rocket that burns down the church. Again not that Christmasy but good.

The Santa Claus 2

The Santa Claus 2 is a good movie. Along with all the stress of being Santa, he discovers to remain Santa he must find a wife. Not as good as the first but still very watchable.

Miracle on 34th Street(1947)

This movie is wonderful. A wonderful cast and superb acting. It shows believing in something that seems impossible is what life is all about.

One of my favorite movie of all time: Chris tells the mother where to find the fire truck that has the ladder and shoots real water. Only a true Santa would do that.

Tim Allen's proformace as St. Nick is great and its a great story that make you love christmas. One of my favorites every year and Judge Reinhold just adds to the joy.

Its a Wonderful Life

I have seen this movie many times over the years, but only in parts and have never been overly impressed. So I decided to truly watch it. I sadly admit I still didn't enjoy it. However being a film lover I do see its greatness and do respect that is a true classic with an everlasting message.

I thought a book about not having Christmas would be depressing. But in writing Skipping Christmas Grisham shows it can't really be done or that at least skipping it is a bigger pain then just having Christmas. Good for a few laughs.

Book Review:Tuesdays With Morrie-By Mitch Albom

Everyone should read this book. Tuesdays with Morrie should be required reading for every adult. Morrie is a man dying of ALS and his student(Albom) visits him after many years. While listening to Morrie we truly see that life is a gift.

Fred Claus

I enjoyed this movie. Being a holiday movie, I think its overlooked that it has a really great cast. It was pretty widely panned but it was fun to watch and lets face it fun was all it was meant to be.

The Princess Bride

A great movie of adventure and love. Twenty year later its still fun to watch. I still think the book is a bit better but every time I see the movie I like it more.

This was an ok movie. The story was predictable, but very watchable. Always like Drew Barrymore and as much as I don't like him Hugh Grant always draws my attention.

The Holiday

This movie was really good. Maybe a bit to much Cameron Diaz(but I liked her a lot.) A great cast of Jack Black, great to see him in a more mature role. Jude law was even pretty good and I always love Kate Winslet.

Veronica Mars-The Complete Second Season

Veronica Mars is just a great great show. Its not just another teen drama. I will admit the season long mystery of the bus crash was not as good as the Lilly Kane murder of the first season, but the ending was totally worth the wait.

Friday Night Lights-The First Season

I had heard nothing but good things about this show, but still wasn't sure I wanted to watch it. I found for under $20 and could not pass it up.

I would not say was addictive, but it is very well done and it does draw you in. It protraits small town life very well.

This a good movie. The characters are very watchable. Just like life sometimes you like them sometimes you don't but you care about them. The movie shows we all make mistakes but its not the end of the world.

Whatever happen to Christian Slater? He had such promise back in the day. Pump up the Volume showed that promise. As a pirate radio DJ he was so cool. Being a free thinking bucking the establisment. Every guy wanted to be him, every girl wanted to be with him. I am a 80-90's mood right now and may just have to put this in Blockbuster Queue.

Se7en is very good. Freeman, Pitt and Spacey give three of the best proformaces I've ever seen. The story is fast-paced and tense with an ending that will blow your mind.

I watched the first few episodes today. I honestly did not see what all the fuss is about. All I saw was grusome, grusome, grusome. I'll stick to Veronica Mars and Friday Night Lights.

Pretty in Pink

Pretty in Pink is a classic movie. Molly Ringwald is so watchable and I think its a pity that she hasn't done more. The movie itself is just so simple and great. You like the charcaters and can feel what their going through.

Say Anything...

This is an awesome movie. It shows that loves takes many forms and that no one is perfect. John Cusack's character showed us that the best way to get what you want sometimes is just to ask.

Did anyone else notice all the Frasier conections: John Mahoney, Bebe Newuith, and the setting of Seattle?

I kept reading about this show on another blog and finally gave in. Its a pity it was canceled. It was great to see such a strong female character. A great detective show with a kick ass girl and a mystery that will keep you guessing.

This CD is very good. If you are a Foo's fan its worth a listen. But one thing that disappoint is the Anti-Copying. If we buy the CD we should be able to burn it for a mp3 player.

Music Review:Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds Live at Radio City

Although a big Dave Mattews fan, I hadn't been overly impressed by his stuff of late. I felt he was trying to hard to be "the big rock star." With this new live CD I think he has gone back(at least for the moment) to what he does best which is just playing good music. He and Tim Reynolds just sound amazing.

Freedom Writers is a good movie albeit an old story. How many movie can be made about street kids who make good? I do enjoy Hilary Swank, but not Patrick Dempsy. Although he is TV's golden boy at the moment I find him flat and annoying.

Cosby Show-The Complete First Season

The Cosby Show when there were sitcom on TV. A classic show with one the best casts ever esembled. My only complaint of the DVD is that is not uncut.

Six Degreees of Seperation

You can easily see the greatest Will Smith will become in this movie. You can feel he is con the second he says a word but yet you want almost need to believe in him.
